Guest check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. Guests will receive, through email and SMS messages, the check-in information which includes arrival and departure instructions, a keyless entry code to unlock the door, wifi information, and address 24 hours before check-in. The morning of check-out, you will receive specific check-out instructions, through email and SMS messages, which can also be found in the Welcome Book provided at each rental. Occasionally, we can accommodate earlier check-in times. Please contact us to see if these accommodations are an option for your stay.

Woodland Lodge and Notestone Cabin are both available for short-term stays through online travel agencies such as Airbnb and VRBO which function as a third-party platform. However, you can save the service fees by booking directly through our website offering you the same quality stay at a lower price.

You must be at least 25 years of age to book and be willing to provide proof at the time of reservation. The booking guest will be responsible for all other persons staying on the property during the reservation. Reservations will require a 50% deposit that is charged on the date of reservation. The total remaining balance will be due 30 days before check-in. Reservation charges include but are not limited to, lodging taxes, damage waiver, and cleaning fees. All fees are subject to change. Before check-in, you will be required to complete a pre-arrival form, sign the Rental Conditions, and complete the guest verification process by Superhog before check-in instructions will be provided.

Besides the nightly rates, which vary depending on seasonal demand and availability, reservation fees for direct booking include a 6% lodging tax, $215 cleaning fee at Notestone Cabin, $285 cleaning fee at Woodland Lodge, and a non-refundable $50 damage waiver fee. When booking through third-party platforms (ex: Airbnb, VRBO, etc), additional service fees are added. All fees are subject to local regulations and to change.

Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to arrival will receive a full refund (with the exception of the 10% credit card processing fee).

Cancellations made 14 to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund. No refunds for cancellations made fewer than 14 days before arrival. No refunds for cancellations due to inclement weather. All changes and/or cancellations to reservations must be completed in writing to property owners prior to the appropriate stated cancellation deadline.

HOUSE RULES: -Max guest occupancy is 12 at Notestone Cabin and 20 at Woodland Lodge. -Only guests listed on the pre-arrival form are permitted to stay overnight. -All guests and visitors are the responsibility of the primary booking guest and must comply with all house rules. -No smoking is permitted. -No pets are allowed. -No events or parties are permitted. -No use of glitter and/or confetti on the property -The booking guest must be at least 25 years old to book. -Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the hot tub. -Please use the hot tub at your own risk. -Please keep doors locked and refrain from leaving valuables in cars. -No glass is permitted around the hot tub. -Walk the property at your own risk. -Please move the grill away from the railing/lights with use. -We kindly request that you report any accidental breakages or damages before checking out. -Guests DO NOT have access to the barn.

We provide a fully stocked kitchen, 12-cup coffee maker, coffee, sugar, creamer, shampoo, conditioner, hand/body soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, basic cleaning supplies, propane tank, bedding, and towels at each property.

Woodland Lodge and Notestone Cabin are equipped with Frontier Internet and several TVs with streaming capabilities. We’ve worked to provide the best internet experience possible in our rural location. With that being said, please be aware, internet speeds can vary depending on network usage and satellite strength. No refunds will be issued for internet service problems.

Hocking County is a very beautiful and rural county with curvy and hilly roads that require cautious driving. The roads leading to each property are a combination of paved two-lane highways along with 1 lane gravel scenic roads and may require 4-wheel drive during inclement weather or any significant snowfall. There are no refunds due to inclement weather.

Woodland Lodge can accommodate 20 guests and Notestone Cabin can accommodate 12 guests.

Guest of all ages are welcome, however, neither the cabin, lodge, or property has been child-proofed. It is important for children to be supervised during their stay, especially around any fire feature, hot tub, or while exploring the natural terrain outside. There are fire features, ungated hot tubs, two-story decks, as well as natural areas on the property that require direct adult supervision.

We encourage guests to reach out directly to us if any issue arises during their stay. We will do everything in our power to remedy the situation to make sure your stay with us is as enjoyable as possible.
